Solar Motion Sensor Light, Weatherproof-signal
- Strong Battery Capacity - With an improved design, upgraded solar panel, and increased battery storage from 800mAh to 1500mAh, 1byone LED Solar Powered Wall Light with Motion Sensor is powerful and durable when emitting light in less-than-ideal conditions.
- Intelligent & Bright - Numerous modes including High Light, Dim Light, and High Light Sensor modes, with an auto on/off function for dusk/dawn. 8 super-bright 1.6 watt LEDs mean this light is brighter than previous versions.
- PIR Motion Sensor - At night or in dark conditions, the Pyroelectric Infrared (PIR) sensor is activated by heat and motion from a distance of up to 26.2ft/8m and automatically switches on the powerful LEDs.
- Waterproof & Durable - This lamp is tightly sealed and is waterproof, heat proof, and highly durable. Drainage holes at the bottom of the light help drain away excess water to guarantee a dry case.
- Convenient & Practical - Easily install this in your garden, near stairs, or in any suitable place with direct sunshine. The light fully charges over a complete day while sitting in 7-8 hours of sunlight. Best installed at a height of about 9.8-16.4ft (3-5m). Can it be made to stay on longer than 15 seconds? Need it to get to back yard gate, and am hanicaped, so takes me longer than 15 secinds?
I don't think it can be adjusted, but when mine goes out I just move or wave my hand and it goes on again. I use it in an area of my yard my spot light doesn't reach when I walk my puppy.
By Amazon Customer on December 20, 2015
No, it can't. The light will shine bright when it senses somebody moving nearby and will automatically switch off after 15 seconds when nobody is in range when you choose Hight Light Sensor Mode.

Question: can you turn off the motion sensor?
Answer: i don't think that's possible
By bmandm on November 9, 2016
Yes can turn off motion sensor by sliding the switch position to one and two and the light will remain on continuously and until you change the position of the switch to three which turns on the sensor. But once you install LED light on the wall the position of switch can not be changed.
By E J on November 9, 2016
Yes.There are 3 kinds of modes to choose.

Yes
By carl t burton on November 9, 2016
Yes you can turn off motion sensor. There is a three position switch in the back of the light which needs to be set up to position one or two for continuous light before installation. If you turn off motion sensor (third position turns on the motion sensor) it will remain lite continuously.

"Dim Light Mode always dim light through the day and night." I need always off during the day, dim in the night and bright when someone detected.
Don't think that's an option.
By Gary Burton on July 5, 2016
There are three light modes,
1. Bright Light Mode

Mine is never on during the day unless it is very dark and cloudy.
By Snoopy Girl on July 5, 2016
I have mine on bright detection mode, which works very well but comes on only for like 5 seconds.....a little short. I am not sure but don't think you can set it on dim and coming on bright at the same time. If so, I would be afraid that it would wear the solar charge out .....overall I am satisfied, sorry I cant answe… see more

Am I correct in understanding that it primarily runs off of solar power, but if it needs to, it will run off of the batteries?
The solar panel charges the batteries and then runs off the batteries
By Amazon Customer on October 7, 2016
solar only
By Kindle Customer on October 7, 2016
it run off it's rechargeable batteries only, it charges during day and runs all night
By bmandm on October 7, 2016
It has its own battery.
By kenr on October 7, 2016
The unit runs on the battery. The small solar panel charges the battery.
By New User on October 6, 2016
are they disposeable or can you change out the battery when it dies? because eventually the battery will be the only thing stopping it from woking.
You can just pop in another 18650 battery. They are not soldered in.
By jmizzlefoshizzle on September 23, 2016
It has a large 3.6 volt lithium battery. I think it was soldered in, so replacing it would be a bit of a job. I'm only guessing, but it should last at least 10 years. It's not like the solar garden lights that have small capacity nicad batteries that only last a year or so.
By Amazon Customer on April 30, 2016
Yes, in a couple of years. Usually batteries are soldered in, if handy you probably can replace them
By Romeo Raabe on April 30, 2016
I've only had it for a few months. Works flawlessly.

Doesn't use battery. Just sunlight to recharge. It's super bright.
By Spuds3 on April 30, 2016
Will it charge in the shade without direct sun?
Mine was positioned in light shade and failed to charge. Now it won't charge in bright sun. Very disappointing.
By Tiny Tim on October 9, 2016
It did for me. And it's very bright.
By D. Santi on October 9, 2016
It should charge in light shade but I'm not sure if it will fully charge in dense shade.
By John on October 9, 2016
Mine has charged well on cloudy/rainy days. I would assume it may not last as long if not charged in direct sun. Hope that helps
By Jennifer on October 10, 2016
Not as well. You must locate in an area which receives a good deal of sun. In the last few days it's been cloudy & rainy and I did notice the light flicker at night from a lack of sunlight. But after a day of sunny weather it works great. Would not recommend shade location.
